Buying a fixed amount on a fixed schedule, whatever the price. You buy more coins when the price is low and fewer when it is high, which smooths out your average cost and takes timing decisions off the table.

The daily closing price in US dollars for each purchase day, from Wardcrest’s stored price history. If a purchase day has no price, the nearest earlier day within a week is used; days before our history starts are skipped and counted.

In a market that mostly rises, investing everything on day one usually ends higher; DCA wins when prices fall after you start. The comparison under the results shows both for the period you picked.
