Frequently asked

Do you need my keys or a wallet connection?

No. Wardcrest only reads public chain data and the public Safe Transaction Service. You paste addresses (or an xpub for Bitcoin) and nothing else.

How quickly do alerts arrive?

Once a block reaches Wardcrest’s confirmation depth for that chain, typically seconds on rollups and under a minute on Ethereum. Pending Safe transactions are flagged before they execute, and on Pro and above Bitcoin payments are flagged from the mempool before their first confirmation.

Which chains are supported?

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum One, OP Mainnet, Polygon PoS and BNB Smart Chain.

What happens when my plan ends?

You get reminders 7 days and 1 day before. Paid plans keep working for 3 days of grace; after that the workspace returns to Free and monitors beyond the Free limits pause. Nothing is deleted, and renewing resumes them.

Why bitcoin only?

It keeps Wardcrest free of card processors and their data collection, and it suits the teams we serve. Invoices are priced in US dollars and paid on-chain to our own BTCPay Server.

Is there an API?

Yes. A REST API with scoped keys and an OpenAPI description covers monitors, alerts and usage, on every plan.
