In your private chat

In Wardcrest, open Channels → Telegram, create a link and choose Private chat. That chat then gets your alerts and answers these.

Your price, fee and gas alerts; pause or resume one by its number.

Hold alerts to this chat for 1 to 168 hours; /mute off ends it.

In any chat, without adding the bot

Type @<bot> btc in the message box of any chat. The bot offers up to five price cards; pick one and it is sent there.

What the bot can see

  • In a group, only the commands. Telegram’s privacy mode, which we leave on, keeps the group’s other messages from bots.
  • Your watchlist, portfolio and alerts are answered only in a private chat you connected from your account, never in a group or a channel.
  • To stop floods we count commands per person and per chat for a minute, keyed by a one-way hash of the Telegram ID.
  • /stop disconnects the chat at once, and so does removing or blocking the bot. Deleting your Wardcrest account removes the private chats you connected.
