Terms of Service

Version 1 · in effect from 14 September 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (or the organisation you act for) and the operator of Wardcrest (“Wardcrest”, “we”). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. Questions: support@wardcrest.com.

1. The service

Wardcrest provides market information and tools for cryptocurrencies, address intelligence, alerts, portfolio tracking and security monitoring of the addresses, contracts and extended public keys you configure. It is read-only: it never holds your keys, never signs transactions and cannot move or freeze funds. The only thing it will send to a blockchain network is a transaction you explicitly ask it to rebroadcast.

2. Not a guarantee of security

Wardcrest is a detection and warning tool. Alerts depend on public networks, third-party data providers and our own systems, and can be delayed or, in rare failures, missed. You remain responsible for the security of your keys, contracts and operations, and for acting on alerts. Nothing in Wardcrest is financial, legal or investment advice.

2a. Market data, tools and intelligence

  • Prices, charts, fees, rates and other market figures are for information. They come from third parties, can be delayed or wrong, and may differ from the price you can trade at. Check before you act; do not rely on Wardcrest alone for trading or tax decisions.
  • Calculators and estimates (fees, confirmation times, profit, liquidation prices and the like) are models. Nobody — Wardcrest included — can guarantee that a transaction confirms by a given time.
  • Labels, risk scores and sanctions matches are heuristics built from public data and public lists. They are not legal determinations and can be incomplete or wrong. If you use Wardcrest in a compliance process, you remain responsible for your own obligations and decisions.
  • Do not use address intelligence to harass, stalk, extort or expose people, or to target individuals rather than transactions and entities.

3. Your account

  • Give accurate information and keep your credentials secret. We strongly recommend two-factor authentication.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and your workspaces, including by people and API keys you grant access to.
  • Tell us promptly at support@wardcrest.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Wardcrest to break the law or anyone’s rights; to probe, overload or attack Wardcrest or others (security research under our disclosure policy is welcome); to resell or white-label the service or its data without an agreement with us; to scrape the site or tools in bulk instead of using the API; or to get around plan limits, rate limits or access controls. Embedded widgets must keep their Wardcrest and data-provider credits visible.

5. Plans and payment

  • Paid plans are prepaid for one month or one year, priced in US dollars and paid in bitcoin through our BTCPay Server at the exchange rate shown on the invoice. Invoice quotes expire after the time shown on them.
  • Nothing renews automatically. We remind workspace owners before a paid period ends; after a short grace period the workspace returns to the Free plan and monitors beyond its limits pause.
  • Changing plans mid-period credits the unused time of the current plan toward the new one.
  • If the service does not work for you within the first 14 days of a paid plan, contact us and we will refund the unused time in bitcoin to an address you provide. Otherwise payments are non-refundable except where the law requires.
  • Prices may change for future periods; a period you have paid for keeps its price.
  • You are responsible for taxes that apply to your purchase, other than taxes on our income.

6. Your data

You own the configuration and content you put into Wardcrest. You let us process it only to provide, secure and improve the service, as described in the Privacy Policy. If you publish a trust page, the monitors and details you select become public. You can download a copy of your data at any time under Settings → Your account.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for continuous operation and publish live health on the status page, but there is no uptime commitment unless we agree one in writing. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service we will give at least 30 days’ notice and refund unused prepaid time.

8. Suspension and termination

You can stop using Wardcrest and delete your workspaces or account at any time from Settings, after downloading your data if you want a copy. Deleting your account deletes your personal data as the Privacy Policy describes, except what the law requires us to keep, such as paid invoices; a workspace other people use needs another owner first. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or put the service or others at risk, with notice where reasonable; if we close an account without cause we refund unused prepaid time.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of digital assets — including losses from events Wardcrest did not detect or report in time.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We will email workspace owners about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Wardcrest after that means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where the operator of Wardcrest is established, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
