What 13 top Ethereum collections actually sold for, read from Seaport’s and Blur’s own events on-chain: the day’s sales and volume, the cheapest sale and the typical price. These are sale prices, not floor prices: a floor is the cheapest listing, and listings live in the marketplaces’ private order books.

“Typical” is the median sale. Prices include marketplace fees and royalties. Some trades are wash trades, made to farm marketplace rewards, which is why the cheapest sale and the median can differ. Only sales in ETH or WETH, one NFT at a time, are counted; CryptoPunks trade on their own contract and are not included. Nothing here is financial advice.
Questions
Why sale prices and not the floor price?
A floor is the cheapest listing, and listings are signed orders kept in each marketplace’s own order book, off the chain. Getting them means using a marketplace’s API, whose terms do not allow showing their data on another commercial site without permission. Sales happen on-chain, so we read them from the marketplaces’ own contracts and show what things actually sold for.
Where do the sales come from?
From the events Seaport (used by OpenSea and most aggregators) and Blur’s exchange write on Ethereum for every sale, read every two minutes. We count sales paid in ETH or WETH, one NFT at a time; the price includes marketplace fees and royalties.
Why can the cheapest sale be far below the typical one?
Some sales are accepted bids, which are lower than listings, and some are wash trades between wallets of the same owner, made to farm marketplace rewards. The median, shown as the typical sale, is less moved by either.
